The lake in question is Walsh Lake.

A hike above Carbonado can take you through three of the company town--Melmont, Fairfax, and Manley-Moore. You can climb down the bank by the Fairfax Bridge to the trail and hike upriver for five miles, or find the easier start under the Manley-Moore bridge and walk (or bike) the other way. You can also bike all the way from Wilkeson or Carbonado on the undeveloped Foothills Trail. Don't miss the interesting artwork under the Manley-Moore Bridge!
